Inovva, a leading global provider of digital solutions for the publishing, media and not for profit industries, is seeking a highly motivated, focused and results-driven Business Development Manager - Not-for-Profit.

As our Business Development Manager, Not-for-profit, your top priority is to drive the revenue goals for our DonationPlus software. We are looking for dynamic, high-performing Business Development Manager with experience selling software solutions.

This unique opportunity will allow you to commercialize this new software and build a strong sales funnel in an entrepreneurial environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the full sales cycle, from lead to close, and must love the thrill of the hunt. You will also help internal teams continue to innovate by sharing knowledge of client challenges.

What you will be doing:
  • Work with our development team to ensure our software is the best in the market for the not-for profit sector;
  • You have great knowledge of Donor Database systems, online and offline donation processing and back office services like tax receipts, acknowledgements, data reciprocation and reporting for fundraisers;
  • Develop client proposals that effectively communicate our products and offer customized solutions for each unique non-profit organization;
  • Qualify, pursue and close sales opportunities;
  • You will be the SME (subject matter expert) as regards the not-for-profit sector and how DonationPlus can best serve this sector;
  • Maintain positive customer relationships both before and after the sale to maximize client satisfaction;
  • Monitoring of non-profit marketplace and competitor developments;
  • Foster a positive attitude with the ability to stay flexible in a fast-paced, changing environment.
Required Experience & Skills
  • Several years of software sales (SaaS) experience OR equivalent not-for-profit industry experience;
  • Excellent understanding of sales methodologies (i.e. value selling, target account selling, solutions selling, strategic selling;
  • Proven history of consistent over-quota achievement of sales goals;
  • Ability to thrive in a competitive environment and to adapt to change easily;
  • Demonstrated success in client relationship management;
  • Bilingualism is an asset (French/English).

The incumbent will be responsible for producing various performance metrics reports to identify and answer key business questions addressed by our Publisher Clients. The ideal candidate must have a passion and aptitude for organizing and managing information, spreadsheets, and schedules.

Role Description and Responsibilities
  • Provide and distribute reports to clients using the internal subscription fulfillment platform and Tableau Software;
  • Actively listen to customers, analyze their needs and offer them adapted solutions;
  • Provide insights and guidance to our clients with regards to the production process as well as acquisition, retention and renewal strategies;
  • Prepare files for Label runs, renewal notices, invoices, ad hoc requests;
  • Ensure timely and accurate production of files;
  • Prepare templates for e-mail campaigns;
  • Attend customer meetings when required;
  • Facilitate audit processes (CCAB/AAM);
  • Work with the development team to identify improvements for the subscription fulfillment platform;
  • Perform other related tasks as necessary.
Required Skills
  • Punctuality and respect of work schedules;
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills and good sense of prioritization;
  • Ability to multi-task;
  • Proven listening and communication skills;
  • Professionalism & ownership of responsibilities;
  • Basic math skills;
  • Knowledge of MS Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel);
  • Bilingualism is required (French/English).
Requirements
  • Experience with both Windows & Mac operating systems;
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite (especially Excel) and Tableau software is a strong asset;
  • Prior experience working in Publishing - Circulation or with subscription fulfillment systems is a strong asset;
  • Basic knowledge of database management and SQL.
