Inovva, the new EquiSoft subsidiary, is composed of a dynamic, responsible, results-oriented team that relies/thrives heavily on teamwork. Founded in January 2017 with part of the EquiSoft team, Inovva defines itself as a "startup with experience" and is therefore seeking for intelligent, analytical and passionate candidates with good communication skills to help the team carry out their clients' projects.   An Inovva development team member must:
  • Be critical.
  • Have good communication skills.
  • Write exceptional code.
  • Make code reviews and let his/her code being reviewed.
  • Test his code properly.
  • Document when needed.
  • Stay up-to-date.
Ideally, before joining, he/she would have:
  • Coded solutions or web applications in .Net.
  • Knowledge of HTML (HTML5), CSS (CSS3), JavaScript (JQuery).

A Day In Your Life

  • Greet customers, redirect calls
  • Perform reception duties: order office supplies, make the necessary follow-ups with various stakeholders to ensure the proper functioning of the office
  • Take care of new employee onboarding, including the presentation of the company’s employee programs and benefit package.
  • Organize corporate events and social activities
  • Assist employees with booking travel itineraries
  • Enter, process and verify payroll and employee expense data
  • Perform accounting for employee expenses; gather all missing expense information and follow-up with employees to obtain relevant receipts
  • Verify timesheets and any other relevant documents (adjustments, benefits)
  • Identify and resolve errors; ensure that data from payroll and integrated management systems balance
  • Issue, cash and deposit checks; perform bank reconciliation
  • Maintain accounts by verifying, allocating and posting transactions
  • Register and control receivable and payable accounts
  • Support the Controller in month end closing
  • Send invoices to customers
  • Process payroll data
  • Classify paper copies and store them in file
  • Perform other related tasks
 

Must-Haves

  • Hold at least a diploma of professional studies (DEP) in secretarial, accounting, administration or have an equivalent work experience
  • Have a minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar position
  • Excellent knowledge of French and English (oral and written)
  • Excellent command of the Office Suite (especially Outlook, Word and Excel)
  • Capacity for multitasking and working under pressure
  • Autonomy, thoroughness, rigor and resourcefulness
  • Experience with an ERP is an asset
  • Experience with ADP is an asset

The candidate’s primary responsibilities include:
  • Design, maintain and execute test case scenarios.
  • Implement and conduct automated test scripts for testing.
  • Analyze test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action.
  • Follow established procedures and contribute to the continual improvement of those procedures.
  • Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.
  • Participate actively in follow-up meetings with the clients.
