An IT visionary, Luis founded EquiSoft in 1994 and has been the architect of its direction and expansion ever since. This includes the launch of Inovva to tap new markets and further develop the Media & Publishing sector. The firm’s core values are reflected in his stated mission: value creation. The process of adding value to client projects assures that the team’s creative spark does not wane.
Brinda is an innovative, results-driven marketing and business development executive. She brings to Inovva a proven track-record in customer acquisition and retention, and over 20 years’ extensive experience in audience management, acquired on both B2B and Consumer Publications in the UK and Canada. As the Executive Director of Consumer Marketing at Rogers Media, she led the acquisition and retention of over 1M paid subscriptions across some of the largest Consumer and Business magazines in Canada, and also launched “Texture by Next Issue”, the very first ‘all you can read’ digital service in Canada with thousands of paying subscribers.
In her role as President of Inovva, she is responsible for overseeing the continuous enhancement of the firm’s product line and service offering, and for leading and leveraging new strategic partnerships across North America.
Brinda holds an Honours degree in International Marketing from the UK and France, and has received multiple Consumer Marketing awards and Retail Newsstand awards over the course of her career. She grew up in Paris and London, and has been living in Toronto for over 15 years.
John brings to the Inovva team a 30-plus year career in publishing that includes experience as an editor, publisher and other executive roles including SVP Business & Professional Publishing at Rogers Media. In 2012, he founded Breakwell & Company, a national consulting organization serving clients across the entire media landscape. Since 2013, he has co-authored – with D.B. Scott – four White Papers on the history, evolution and future of the Canadian Business Media Industry for Magazines Canada. Since joining the company in 2014, he has built a national profile for the company in the publishing field. John is a frequent speaker at publishing industry events across Canada. He is also responsible for Business Development for the PublisherElements suite of products and services. John holds a Bachelor of Arts from Trent University and a Master of Arts from York University.
With over 15 years of experience in Software Development, David provides strong leadership in software engineering and architecture as well as overall infrastructure for Inovva. He is responsible for the robust development and proactive maintenance of all software products ensuring that the Inovva team continues to create innovative solutions while leveraging best practices. David holds a Computer Science degree from the Université du Québec à Montréal.
Having worked in the publishing and electronic commerce industry for more than 15 years, Martin brings strong leadership and vision to the product team – he leads the management of Inovva’s Account Management and operational support services, which include our client services team. Martin manages the overall strategic relationship with all of our clients – backed up by his strong technical knowledge and problem solving approach, he works toward solving the multiple challenges of publishers by offering them simple and easy-to-implement solutions. Martin has a Masters degree in Computer Science from the Université de Montréal.
